6-SS (double games), G/3+2. EF $5. CASH ONLY. All EFs returned after costs. Prizes paid to 1st, 2nd, U1600, cumulative upset. Registration: 6:30-7pm, Rounds to start as quickly as possible after the completion of the previous round.
April 10-April 24: 10th Spence Quad
4-player sections, all-play-all. G/80,d5. EF $5. 1st: $10, 2nd: $5. Registration 6:30-7pm.
May 1: 16th Quick
5-SS. G/12d3. EF: $5 at site. CASH ONLY. $$15-10, U1600, U1300 each 7.50. One bye allowed; if rd five, must be requested before beginning of rd four. Registration: 6:30-7pm; Rds start as quickly as possible after end of preceding round.
May 8: 3rd Spence Matchplay
2-RR. G/40,d5. EF: FREE! (No prizes, of course.) Players will be paired in individual two-round matches by rating. This means that if there is an odd number of players the lowest rated player will not have a game.
May 15-June 5: 16th Swiss
4-SS. G/80;d5. EF: $10. $$ (80 b/10, prizes proportional to entries with additions as entries allow) 30-20, U1600, U1300 each 15. One bye allowed; if rd four, must be requested before beginning of rd three. Rds: 7pm each Wednesday.
